Position Summary:
This role will act as Open Rank Professor, a faculty member who has completed a doctorate degree in the area in which the faculty member will be teaching (i.e., Applied Behavior Analysis) as Open Rank Professor, they facilitate learning, and partake in scholarship, service, or any combination of those activities.
The Program Coordinator for the Master of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program is a member of the core faculty who is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the program, its faculty, and students. The Program Coordinator interacts with the Dean to establish a culture of inclusivity, compliance, and academic excellence. This role includes programmatic budgetary responsibilities, talent management, and working in collaboration with core and clinical faculty, students, and external stakeholders to achieve the mission and outcomes. The Program Coordinator plays a critical role in enhancing the student experience, certification success, and promoting the program's growth and development.
Starting Salary: Step 1 Assistant Professor $74,369.09 annualized. A stipend will be applied for the Coordinator role, and the salary will be determined based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: A Doctoral degree in Behavioral Analysis, or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university. Equivalent terminal degrees in relevant disciplines will also be considered.
Experience: Adequate years of experience in the areas involved in assignments; documented potential in the areas of facilitating learning, scholarship, and service, as applicable to assignments; and if appropriate, a record of meritorious performance of the duties and obligations of an instructor.
Certifications, Licenses, etc.: Behavior Analyst Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®). Nationally certified.
Skills:
Serve a core faculty member and teach graduate level coursework.
Collaborate with the program faculty to develop and maintain a high-quality curriculum that meets the standards set by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board and enables Alliant to meet the accreditation requirements of the ABAI or APBA.
Coordinate with program faculty to offer practicum experiences that meet the requirements of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
Coordinate the appointment of adjunct faculty members to teach courses and oversee research and practice.
Arrange for and review evaluations for all courses, and work with faculty to improve courses as needed.
Maintain program records, data analysis, and reporting to support continuous improvement and strategic planning.

Duties Required of All Faculty - Certain duties are additionally required of all faculty and are not given formal workload credit but will be included in yearly evaluations. These include but are not limited to:
Active participation in campus life to sustain a high level of facilitated learning.
Participation in program governance, including program-based committees, with the exception of SERC which may receive up to three units of service workload credit at the discretion of the Program Director and the approval of the Dean and the Provost/VPAA.
Active participation in program and campus activities (including scheduled and impromptu meetings of faculty, staff, and students).
Picking up and promptly responding to paper, voice and electronic mail and messages.
Visibility and accessibility supporting a sense of community.
Regular accessibility either by person, by telephone and/or virtually to students, colleagues and the greater University community.
Posting of teaching schedules, office hours, and procedures for making appointments on the faculty member’s door, online and on syllabi.

Program Coordinator, Duties/Responsibilities
PhD in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or closely related discipline Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Graduate program management experience.
Experience of teaching Behavior Analysis in higher education, preferably at an ABAI or APBA accredited institution.
Evidence of scholarly productivity.
Knowledge of ABA principles and practices, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Direct Reports: Program Faculty; Teaching or Research Assistant, when assigned.
Indirect Reports: None.
