Description
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University seeks a full-time, non-tenure eligible physician at the Assistant/Associated level on either the Clinical Educator or Health System Clinician tracks.
The candidate must have a clinical focus in Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and will join in a vibrant, growing IBD program at Lurie Children’s. The IBD program represents an important strategic component of the Division and is a leading program in the state of Illinois. Evidence of productive clinical or basic research will strongly support any candidate for the position.
The successful candidate will join an expanding group of dedicated academic and clinical pediatric gastroenterologists (https://www.luriechildrens.org/en/specialties-conditions/pediatric-gastroenterologist/). The Division is currently composed of 28 MDs, 10 nurse practitioners and 8 fellows and has over 20,000 annual patient visits and performs over 2,000 procedures.
The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled. Salary is commensurate with experience and will be competitive.
