Description
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Immunology, at the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies (CIIT) in the Seattle Children's Research Institute (SCRI) is recruiting a faculty member at the Clinical Assistant Professor level, commensurate with experience and qualifications, to contribute to clinical care in our growing clinical pediatric allergy service. Anticipated start date is Summer/Fall 2025.
The successful candidate will join a diverse faculty of clinicians, physician-scientists, and scientists to participate in the diagnosis, treatment and advancement of knowledge and novel therapeutics for people with inborn errors of immunity and allergic disorders.
The successful candidate will contribute to a growing outpatient allergy clinical service and participate in a robust inpatient and outpatient allergy service at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
The Division co-directs the University of Washington, Allergy and Immunology Fellowship program, and is strongly committed to the training of Allergy and Immunology Fellows. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, fellows and junior faculty.
All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
Requirements
Must have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent). Must be Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in ALLERGY/IMMUNOLOGY and must be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington.
Completion of residency training in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics and fellowship training in Allergy/Immunology is also required.
